These twin pieces explore how we see and how we are seen—especially through gendered and racialized lenses. In Part 1, the woman stands in turquoise, a color of clarity and intuition, with the magnifying glass disrupting her mouth—asking what happens when our voices are examined, reduced, or misunderstood. In Part 2, the man in orange represents heat, creativity, survival—but he too is scrutinized. The series challenges the idea of visibility itself. What parts of us are magnified, and what parts are intentionally left un colored.
