a visual meditation on the surreal, nonlinear nature of dreams and the fragmented emotional landscapes we traverse in our sleep. Using vibrant colors, childlike figures, and fantastical settings, I wanted to depict the subconscious as a playground—at times whimsical, other times unsettling. Each panel in this piece is a portal: from alien abductions to floating through pink clouds, from being swallowed by a vortex to chilling on a couch surrounded by framed memories. These vignettes are stitched together like the strange, vivid sequences we try to piece together after waking. The faceless figures represent our shifting identities in dreams—fluid, ungrounded, and sometimes visitors in our own minds. This work reflects my ongoing exploration of imagination, isolation, and identity. It’s about how our inner worlds collide and evolve, and how even the wildest dreams—whether cosmic, chaotic, or comforting—are still reflections of us.
Ultimately, “It’s Just a Dream” asks: What truths are hidden in the things we forget when we wake up?
