The red water flowing from his garment speaks to sacrifice, yes, but also to the transmission of power through generations. The Black mountains beneath him are ancestral, they hold memory, grief, and strength. ‘Split for Salvation’ is about divine rupture, about the sky opening up to remind us who we are and who we come from.”
